Happy Bucks: Chuck Wehage expressed thanks for the excellent support during his administration; John Schweitzer invites all to a performance by the New Horizons Band at the History Center on Saturday morning; John Anderson thanked Jim Doyne for his on-air support of Kiwanis; Keith Sutherland reported on guiding Don and Marjorie Grimm around Yosemite last week; Doug Dix is amazed to find the Colorado Rockies in the playoffs; John Locher threw in a buck in celebration of the Red Sox making it in Next week’s program: Steve Jackson, Chair of the redistricting committee, will speak. On the 17th, Jim Kern will talk about Brucemoor now that he has assumed the job of executive director. Speaker: Rob Hogg presented a look forward to the next session of the Iowa Legislature, leading all to an appreciation of that mostly thankless chore.
