Speaker:  The program was the installation of new officers.  Outgoing President, Kelly Moore, gave a brief overview of the past year and presented several certificates to members for their service.  He also had a few humorous citations:  Fran received a bowa and hat so that she would now rival Elton John both in dress and playing; Gerry Kneeland received a hammer for his alter ego demolition skill during the flood relief work day; Sister Charmaine received a yardstick to assist her in maintaining law and order; Dan Breitbach received the “Verbose Bloviator Award”(enough said) and Bob Hatala was given a stop sign with “Dan Stop” on it (more than enough said).

Byron paid tribute to Kelly’s leadership this past year, then installed the following officers and board members:

President: Bob Hatala

Secretary: Sister Charmaine

Treasurer: Gerry Kneeland

First VP: Dan Breitbach

Second VP: Mike Poggenklas

Past President: Kelly Moore

Word for the day: Salubrious: favorable to or promoting health or well-being.  Several in the crowd guessed it correctly so Don had to pony up the dollar.
