Happy Bucks:  Dick Boardman – happy his two sons will be working; Chuck Wehage was happy but I didn’t catch what his happiness was; Jim Platt – his speaker didn’t show up today; Joe Schmall – his son Dan will be playing in the Shrine Game at ISU this summer; Dan Breitbach – some kind of a jumbled family happiness involving unrequited beer consumption.

Speaker:  Sadly, our speaker did not arrive.

Upcoming programs:

Dave Graeff announced the June agenda:
June 4: Freedom Festival
June 11: Civil War Re-enactment
June 18: Economics of Municipal Solid Waste
June 25: IA Dept of Public Health re: New smoking law

Word for the day:   Kevin Carlson subbed in for Don Grimm and presented us with: “Gerontaucracy” – government by the old people.  It was correctly guessed and Kevin forfeited a dollar.
